Chanelle Le Roux is a part-time performer and speaker who has never shied away from the limelight. She also enjoys putting brands centre stage, in her capacity as owner and driving force of Ninki, an Adelaide-based content marketing business.

Chanelle is a proud South African – the accent is strongest when aimed at other drivers – and has been in marketing since 2009. She left Cape Town soon after getting her start, plying her trade across Argentina, the UK and eventually Australia.

Along the way she worked with such globally recognised brands as The Economist, BBC and ESPN, in an array of roles that touched sales, programmatic advertising and strategy. While cutting her teeth she realised she had a particular talent and passion for strategy and content marketing.

In 2017, jaded with corporate life, she turned to freelancing. Just a year later, that freelancing gig had flourished into a company. Ninki was born.

Over the subsequent years Ninki has evolved with its industry. Initially copywriting was the company’s bread and butter, but more recently the focus has switched to video, which has proved a natural fit for someone who is the antithesis of camera-shy.

Who attends the Digital Marketers Australia Conference?

The DMA Conference connects marketers from around the country (and globe). It is a meeting place where business owners and experts come together to network, learn, and move the industry forward.

Popular attendee backgrounds include CMOs, small business owners, medium and large digital marketing teams, agencies and more.

When will the agenda be made available?

The agenda will be released on our website closer to the conference date. Check back as we get closer to the event otherwise we’ll also be announcing its release through our Facebook Group, Instagram Page and via email if you’ve already purchased a ticket or are in the Association.

Do I have to arrive the day before the conference?

You don’t have to but we recommend it. Most attendees like to stay on or near the conference venue so they’re well rested before the event. This also means you’re near all the networking events that take place around the conference too!

Do you offer any other methods of payment aside from credit card?

Right now the only method of payment we accept is credit card.

Are tickets refundable? What happens if I can no longer go?

No, unfortunately as laid out in our terms and conditions there will be no refunds on tickets and all sales are final. If you can’t make it to the event and let us know in advance, we can transfer it to someone else on your team or to a colleague (a $50 transfer fee applies).

If you couldn’t make it to the conference for whatever reason, please email us and we’ll be happy to give you a ticket to the next conference instead, however note refunds are not possible.

Can you buy a ticket for just 1 day?

No, unfortunately we only sell tickets for the full event which includes all the networking evenings too. One day tickets aren’t available.

Can I share my ticket with someone else in between days?

No, you will need to show a valid ID upon picking up your badge. Badges can’t be shared in between or during the days of the conference. You may be asked to show your ID to match your badge during the course of the conference by a staff member at the door.

Can I get a tax invoice for my ticket? My work is purchasing it for me

Absolutely, you will get a tax invoice after you have made your purchase which you can provide to your employer or use for your own accounting purposes.
